Not sure if the museum is open year round, but the Harvest Festival in the Fall is very nice. This year it was complete with lots of vendors, good food, and Civil War Reenactment! The museum houses all kinds of historical items from the beginning of our County and the early periods of this Country, along with a little gift shop with lots of neat books about the area and the coal sculptures were my favorite!
Access for all age levels and physical fitness levels. Beautiful lake and cabins.
They close at 3 and unfortunately we arrived at about 4 minutes to 3 we did get to go into the gift shop but unfortunately we weren't able to see the museum
A great place to see the county's history. The day I went they had great reenactments on Native American history.
Really interesting place to go. I never knew Greene county had such and interesting past. The displays are really nice. It's a place that I recommend people check out if they live near or in Greene county.
